The Indian Resource and Development Association (IRADA) is a not-for-profit NGO engaged in popularization and promotion of science and developing scientific temper in the society, children and youth in particular. It is a unique organization of its type in this part of India. The IRADA is a registered Society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (now under the new Haryana Registration & Regulation of Societies Act, 2012 after repealing of the 1860 Act in Haryana). Since its inception, the IRADA has taken several initiatives and conducted a large number of programmes and events on diverse themes and subjects. The IRADA has also received concession under Sections 12A and 80G (5) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, IRADA is is registered under Section 51(2) of The Right of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and empanelled under O/o. Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. IRADA also received National Award for their outstanding efforts in Science & Technology popularization for rural and urban children through its activities from Govt. of India.
